Maintenance Assistant (Seasonal)
Perform repair and maintain of buildings and other structures. Also perform maintenance and repair of field structures which may require general carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills. Operate various pieces of small equipment. Purchase supplies and materials in accordance with Department policy and procedures. Responsible for daily records and reports. Will be required to operate slope mowers on flood projects.

Salary Range:
From $17 to $17 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
Two years of full-time experience in maintenance or mechanical work under the supervision of a skilled tradesperson; OR completion of an appropriate two-year technical school course at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services, such as the New York State Civil Service Employees Association-Partnership (NYS CSEA-P) Applied Skilled Trades Certificate Program; or an equivalent combination of experience and training gained by completion of appropriate technical courses at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
