Labor Services Representative/Trainee 1/2 (Hourly) - Olean

STANDARD DUTIES: As a Labor Services Representative, you would assist customers and provide a broad range of services to jobseekers and employers both on an individual basis and through group presentations. You would interview customers to evaluate the nature of services desired, obtaining a complete work history including job experience, education, skills, salary ranges and job preferences. You would identify barriers to employment and develop solutions to these barriers. Intensive job placement assistance is key through developing skills based resume, successful employment interview coaching, providing continuing job leads, conducting employment referrals and advocating for the job seeker when applying for a job. You would provide information on resources available through the Department of Labor.

Salary Range: From $20.59 to $24.29 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or one recognized by the New York State Education Department as following acceptable education practices.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
